Skills Development & Vocational Training

These skills are designed to help them become self-reliant and create sustainable job opportunities, which in turn uplifts their families and communities:Image

  • Vocational Training
Under Vocational Training, Hope-Flow of Life offer a diverse range of skills-building activities tailored to empower teen mothers. These include tailoring and fashion design, where they learn sewing, upcycling, and small business skills; hairdressing and beauty therapy, covering hairstyling, skincare, and salon management; and culinary arts and baking, which teach cooking, food safety, and catering basics.
  • ICT Promotion
Under ICT Promotion, Hope-Flow of Life provide teen mothers with essential digital skills to enhance their learning, entrepreneurship, and employment opportunities. Activities can include basic computer literacy such as using Microsoft Office, internet browsing, and typing skills; smartphone usage for accessing information, mobile banking, and managing small businesses; and training in social media marketing to promote products or services online. Additional sessions can cover safe and responsible internet use, creating digital resumes or portfolios, and using online platforms for job searches or e-learning. Introducing simple graphic design tools, digital photography, and content creation can also spark creativity and open up digital income-generating pathways. These activities not only bridge the digital divide but also empower young mothers to connect, learn, and thrive in an increasingly digital world.
